Naomi earned her Juris Doctor from William S. Boyd School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English, both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). While she was born in New York, she was raised in Las Vegas her entire life and considers Las Vegas her hometown.
She takes pride in being patient and is a good listener. Naomi makes sure to hear the client’s side of the story so that she can better compare it to the allegation the client is facing. She believes that consistent communication is the key to an attorney/client relationship and is determined to get each client the most favorable outcome possible.
Naomi has been practicing law since 2021 and was excited to join The Defenders to cultivate her passion for advocacy by working with a variety of cases and clients. She has always known that she wanted to have a career that would allow her to help people, but didn’t know exactly what that meant. After graduating from UNLV with her bachelor’s degree, she started to explore and eventually found herself meeting with an admissions director at Boyd School of Law. From there, she realized that a career in criminal defense was exactly the path that was made for her.
In criminal defense, Naomi has the opportunity to stand next to a person during what might be the most difficult point in their life. She’s the person who helps them to navigate through the complexities of the criminal justice system and loves being able to make the process just a little bit easier for clients.
Away from the office, Naomi likes to stay active, taking frequent hikes with her dog and going to yoga and cycle classes as often as possible.
